Well let us explore some of these occurrences. All through out oral and written history
such stories abound. Aliens, are they or aren’t they…. watching us?? I
believe they are… and will explain my belief later. The year 1876
Sacramento, Calif. Numerous reports of an electric lamp flashing
through the sky about 7 pm, propelled by some mysterious force. many
people saw it. Some claimed to hear voices coming from the thing. The
San Francisco Chronicle stated “it was probably the greatest hoaxes of
all time “ (but what do they know?)
The year 1897 April 1, residents of Texas reported seeing something in the sky.
Telegraphers felt it necessary to warn every surrounding telegraph office they could of this impending peril. Those agents in turn, gleefully tapped out messages to their buddies. Soon reports came in from Oklahoma, Nebraska, California and Arizona of star gazers observing something over their towns, ranches and open ranges. The unknown objects had a sweeping \searchlight and were shaped like a saucer, no, more like a cigar, maybe a raft! ‘Uh-uh it looked like a big plate or possibly a gravy bowl’. Excitement mounted, but not because it was April Fools Day. This was the real thing!
Not to be outdone, the good citizens of Sacramento had their sighting, albeit some time later, Nov 20th. In this journey westward, the machine had sprouted wings, the following night in Oakland, Calif. it displayed not only a head light but what appeared to a belly light. Electrician John Horen stated the machine landed and its hosts invited him on a trip to Hawaii, which he gladly took. His wife couldn’t understand her husband’s alleged trip as she remembered him asleep in his bed all night. About the same time people of Quincy, Illinois observed a nighttime phenomenon. An object sporting a green light on one side and a red on the other low above the Mississippi river and following the course of the river. Disbeliveers said it may have been a steamboat, but what do they know!.
Back in San Francisco Colonel H. G. Shaw reported an attempted abduction on his person after leaving Hienie Kabooblers Saloon late in the evening. The crew of the ship, according to the Colonel, were Martians, but were defeated in fierce combat by this determined man.
According to the skeptical Norman Transcript of Norman, OK. April 23 1897 “Some of these airship stories would be more believable it they took place during the daylight hours.”
The Dallas Morning News April 19th. Reported an out of control airship banging around town and eventually colliding with Judge Proctor’s windmill and went to pieces. The wreckage landed in the Judge’s flower garden. Investigation of the wreckage was carried out by U>S> Army Signal Service officer T.J. Weems who voiced his opinion “The vessel and the dead crewman were from Mars. The pilot’s funeral will take place tomorrow.”
But if this ship was wrecked how did it get over to LeRoy , Kansas by the 23rd where according to the Yates Center Farmer’s Advocate a machine came down, swiped one of farmer Hamilton’s heifers by lassoing it about the neck and flying off. This amazing story goes on and on describing the strange appearance of the aviators, the discovery of the animal’s hide, legs and head a few miles away. The airship, they claimed , had windows with the hideous crew clearly visible. Beneath the ship was a huge turbine wheel that made much noise when activated on ascent.
After letting all this sink in for a few weeks both the news editor and Mr. Hamilton
admitted they made up the entire story and that they were life members of the local Liars Club.
But remember now, if they were liars as claimed could they not be lying about telling the lie and therefore what they claimed was a lie was actually the truth? Aha! Think about it.
Well, we, Johnny and me firmly believe there is intelligent life out there, we know
there is because they have been much too intelligent to ever try to contact us!
